Hello Stacho, Now the languages pt and pt_PT are working fine for me. Thanks! But, I've found another problem. When I'm using the 0.3.11 for Windows, the lower conduit is missing. Could you check the attached files, please? -Toni -----Original Message----- From: therion-bounces(a)speleo.cz [mailto:therion-bounces@speleo.cz] On Behalf Of Stacho Mudrak Sent: Thursday, May 11, 2006 9:14 AM To: therion(a)speleo.sk Subject: Re: [Therion] Translation to Portuguese In the latest snapshot, also pt and pt_PT languages should be supported in map layouts. Hi Martin, Here is the translated file for the map output. Check this example: .... therion: point helictite pt: helictite pt_PT: excêntrica .... pt: translation for Portuguese-Brazil. pt_PT: variant for Portuguese-Portugual The file has been translated and revised several times, so I think there are no spelling errors. The pt_PT variant has been adapted by some colleagues from Portugal. I've converted the file to utf-8 encoding using the SciTE text editor for Win32. Thanks for your help. It will be great if you it can be compiled in the next release. Cheers, -Toni TONI CAVALHEIRO External IT Consultant to: Wacker Química do Brasil Ltda. Rua Municipal, 100 - Jd. Hello Martin, I will work on the translation this week and send you the new files as soon as possible. I don't know if there are different term of pt_BR and pt_PT, but I will try to contact some colleagues in Portugal to improve the translation. Thanks. Hi Ladislav, Unfortunately I'm using a Windows box, and not a *nix machine. :( Is there another option without recompile the Therion? If I have to install a Linux, do you recommend any distribution? Point scaling.
by Philip Schuchardt 03 May '06

03 May '06

I am drawing a large map and had to in increase the scale from 1:200 to 1:600. Therion seems to scale walls and lines really well but the point symbols stay the same size for any scale. Is there anyway to scale the point symbols, other then typing -scale tiny |small | normal | large | huge for each point symbol? Philip Schuchardt

Drawing maps from FR data
by Eric Madelaine 02 May '06

Hello, I'm back to therion after quite a long time, and very happy with the new features I discover. I have a cave for which I have a number of maps drawn, and the rest only with passage dimensions (LRUD) I have been able to mix both (maps and LRDUD) in the generated 3D models, but not in the 2D maps and atlas. Is there a way to do that ? Cheers, Eric Madelaine

I have all data as measurement (lenght, clino, compass) in the .th file. As soon as I define a map only the station points defined in scraps are showed (and whole map is scaled on this). Therion and .3d files
by Stacho Mudrak 07 Apr '06

07 Apr '06

Yesterday, I have improved import of .3d files, so it should be possible to join projects in survex/therion without commenting "import" commands in the low-level surveys. We have discussed it with Andrew Atkinson in Dec05. There is a small example in tests/svxtst. A 64bit patch was also applied. S.
