Hello, I'm back to therion after quite a long time, and very happy with the new features I discover. I have a cave for which I have a number of maps drawn, and the rest only with passage dimensions (LRUD) I have been able to mix both (maps and LRDUD) in the generated 3D models, but not in the 2D maps and atlas. Is there a way to do that ? Cheers, Eric Madelaine

Unfortunately, there is no way to do it right now. This feature is quite a long time in the TODO list, may be it is time to implement it. I will have a look. Regards, S.

I'm afraid not, but you may generate the .xvi from LRUD data and use them as background for map drawing. Example - the data in [ ] are LRUD on FROM and TO point, but you may use only in TO point: fajciar-premeranie.th: encoding utf-8 survey fajciar-premeranie centreline data normal from to length clino compass left right up down 1 2 15.83 -59.2 83 [0.6 3.3] [0.8 1.3] [1.3 9.0] [6.0 0.2] 2 3 3.52 19 124 [3.1 1.5] [1.4 0.6] [3.1 3.8] [0.2 1.9] 3 4 7.15 50.8 243 [0.3 0.9] [0.9 0.5] [3.8 2.1] [0.0 0.6] 4 5 7.36 63.3 291 [0.7 0.8] [2.3 0.7] [2.1 1] [0.0 0] endcentreline endsurvey premeranie.thconfig: encoding utf-8 source fajciar-premeranie.th #export map -projection plan -output test-plan.pdf #export map -projection extended -output test-elev.pdf #export model -output test.thm export map -projection plan -output test-plan.xvi export map -projection extended -output test-extended.xvi

Thanks Martin. It will help, for a different goal anyway.... It would help also if it was possible to specify that you want the station names systematicaly printed in the generated xvi. I saw the previous discussion about a similar option for pdf maps, but I guess it's less difficult (or less important if labels overlap) than for a final output. Eric.

Station names are already in XVI, they are just not shown. When you insert a scrap point on the station in XVI image, type it is automatically changed to station and also -name option is autmatically assigned. If you look on the status line (when pointer is above the station in XVI image), station name should be shown there also. HTH, S.

Ah ! seems good, I'll have to test it. I appear to have problems changing my habits, and thinking "vectorial" instead of printed or scanned data.... Sorry ;) Eric.
