http://search.cpan.org/dist/HTML-WikiConverter-DokuWiki/ HTML::WikiConverter::DokuWiki adds the DokuWiki dialect to HTML::WikiConverter allowing the conversion of HTML to DokuWiki markup. 3d file wall models - scrap connections
by Wookey 30 Dec '06

30 Dec '06

I very much like the 3d map output into survex .3d format. However it does seem to have a problem at joins. It all looks lovely in plan view, but as soon as you look sideways you will see that there is often a vertical offset in the lines at the join. I can see that there _might_ be a pitch at the pont of the join, but normally a smooth transition in the vertical as well as horizontal plane is desired. How are the vertical co-ordoinates at the ends of scraps determined, and is it possible to msake sure they 'join' (have the same co-ordinates) both vertically as well as horizontally? The option to say 'add vertical lines to complete join' would be useful for cases where there is a step height change (e.g the connection between menagerie_s4 and terikan.reifticious_s1). But I'm not quite sure how/where this might be done. If it is hard, then joining everything up would be much better than it is now. See http://wookware.org/mulu/MuluWalls.3d, then look at it on a bit of a tilt. Controlling colour-by-map
by Wookey 23 Sep '06

23 Sep '06

I like the colour map-fg map command, but with a a big system I need better control than to have each bottom-level map coloured differently. Is there any way to control what get's coloured? e.g for an overview map I really want each cave to be a different colour. But some caves are made up of several maps. Currently each of these gets a different colour. Can I select which maps are considered for the colour-allocation, and/or allocate colours to maps? Therion wiki
by Ladislav Blazek 22 Sep '06

22 Sep '06

Hi all, Therion wiki was upgraded to the newest DokuWiki version. In the same time: - wiki template was unified with Therion web site - structure was little bit changed - first namespace is always language (some links on pages needs to be modified because of that - see Fix me! page http://wiki.speleo.cz/therion-wiki/doku.php?id=wiki:fixme) Feel free to add/edit documentation. Changing map-legend /cavelength
by Wookey 20 Sep '06

20 Sep '06

I have a plot that is fine but the cavelength in the map legend is wrong (because the .3d file used if for the whole system, not just this part of it). HOw can I override this value, either by changing the value for \cavelength, or by simply putting some text in instead. I tried to follow the examples in the back of the thbook, and succeeded in replacing the whole map legend with nothing but a north arrow in the top NW corner (as in the example), but I don't know enough latex to put back in the title, legend etc in the right format or how to add some plain text. therion notes
by marco 20 Sep '06

20 Sep '06

while i was (and still i am) learning therion i wrote some notes about it. i think that documentation is an important part of open projects, now i put the first part of the notes, as html pages, at www.geocities.com/marco_corvi/caving/therion/index.htm hoping they will be helpful. i plan to add the missing parts as soon as possible my english is not that good, but it can improve ... there are still a few header lines in italian ... (sorry) above all, i may have misunderstood things about the program. i'll be glad to know about any mistake and/or improvement so that i can correct the notes. thanks. marco

wikipedia of therion
by Julian Todd 19 Sep '06

Hello, I've noticed that this here Therion probably fits within the bounds of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_%28software%29 Anyone thought of typing it in? If we cover them all then we can have "List of Cave surveying software" onto the wikipedia, which might make a good reference. Julian T.
