You should be able to use -, if backcompass reading is missing.

This should be possible.

You may use -, if LRUD data are missing. For splay shots, they are
simply ignored.

You can use fromcount/tocount for start and end readings:
data topofil from to compass clino fromcount tocount

Using calibrate clino. If 0 is up, use:

calibrate clino 90 -1

If 0 is down:

calibrate clino 90  1

It depends, if you have interleaved data or not. This is simple example:

data diving from to compass fromdepth todepth tape

Therion should have basicly the same syntax of centerline data as
survex has, so you should look at survex manual.
