Wouldn't it possible to take the up-down information from LRUD when they are present? Currently, it seems that as soon as there is a scrap, LRUD are completely ignored, which sometimes create very strange shapes which completely contradict the LRUD. Xavier Stacho Mudrak wrote:
Unfortunatelly, you are right - current algorithm uses only plan projection to create 3D model - no elevation projections are used.
For vertical caves, this modelling approach is completely wrong. I would like to change this, but no time until now :(

Hi Stacho,
today I was working on a 3D model of a cave.
Am I wrong or does Therion not use the extended elevation but only the 2D plan view for the 3D model?
It would be great to be able to create a full 3D model of a cave using all available 2D map projections including profiles.
