Hello Steff, I gave a short presentation on Therion a year or so ago, and I'd be happy to send you my presentation. It isn't particularly detailed as I spent most of the time demonstrating how the software worked. It may have something in it that you might find useful though. I'll try to track it down once I leave work.
Last weekend I wanted to complete the process (survey, redraw, scan, trace and upload onto the map) in a single day, but beer got in the way.

Happy to make this technology available to Therion users. Server uploading is not hard to solve, and is best done from within the system. The rendering overlay is done using the same software you can see here:
