Hi, Paul Karoshi and I were pleased to present Therion on a nation wide speleological conference in Austria on the 28th-29th of march. Different approaches of direct cave drawing programms, such as applications for Corel Draw, Adobe InDesign and Autocad are presented by their users. We also will prepare a small practical introduction for interested people. Our question is: Is there any material of presentation you can support us with? Greetings and Glück Tief, steff

I have several boards with map samples, and the board with therion features overview. For me is not a problem to print presentations boards, because it is my job. So if you have any idea, I may do it. Martin S.

You might want to look at: http://seagrass.goatchurch.org.uk/~mjg/cgi-bin/map.py which has some overlays of Austria cave maps (if you give it time to load). The latest progress is under the Leck Fell link where the Tunnel drawing program shows it can upload cave surveys directly onto the server. Last weekend I wanted to complete the process (survey, redraw, scan, trace and upload onto the map) in a single day, but beer got in the way. Happy to make this technology available to Therion users. Server uploading is not hard to solve, and is best done from within the system. The rendering overlay is done using the same software you can see here: http://maps.farmsubsidy.org/sweden Julian.
Hello Steff, I gave a short presentation on Therion a year or so ago, and I'd be happy to send you my presentation. It isn't particularly detailed as I spent most of the time demonstrating how the software worked. It may have something in it that you might find useful though. I'll try to track it down once I leave work.

Ah yes, this happens :-).
