Dear tarquin and Bruce
Thks a lot for your answer that seems to confirm thé bug, i saw thé same Behavior as Bruce discribed with acuracy in my project.I will remove thé connection point on thé faulty level replaced by an arrow line. Less clean but more logical.

And noting that map-level progressively chops out the offsets, starting with the level-1 offset.

Undocumented feature for export of maps?

At least it does not change the map-connection line behaviour.
