Several weeks ago James Begley and I found pretty much this same problem in
Fedora 25. When using the NVidia proprietary driver (version 375.66), loch
fails to start with an error
Error: glXCreateContent failed
In my testing I found that the open-source Intel display driver (part of the
Fedora distribution) and the VirtualBox display driver both work. They do not
show this message.
I do not have a Fedora 25 machine with Nouveau driver, so I have not tried
that. The only machine I have with Nouveau is CentOS6 and it is dedicated to
running VirtualBox virtual machines.
