I think Wookey maybe right, 'merge' sounds like a better term.
It also give the possibility of creating a club list of cavers
eg. merge name "ABC Caving Club" "Caver1" "Caver2" etc.
I Personally do not wish to edit very old source records, as they should
closely tally with the original books.
It took me quite a while to replace a David with a Dave that got in to one
set of data. At least I could do it by caves, then series, then passages,
before finally finding the correct file.
A 'merge' type statement could be very useful to put key surveyors and then
clubs involved especially on larger scale surveys where title box room is
frequently limited.
