I’m interested in what you are trying to do with point 1, probably something I want to turn my mind to in the next few months.

Back on 2 July I asked a similar question “Can we invoke multiple tex-map \maplayouts for each exported map output?” but didn’t get any response.  Perhaps a stupid question, or self-evidently never going to work. I have not looked at it since.

At present I don’t have any answers for you.

You’ll then need to inject the code into your thconfig file using the “input” command.

Dear Therion users,

I've got few issues with map header customization using metapost and tex code.

1.  Then I am trying to move north arrow and legend somehere away from main map header  using "\def\maplayout {\legendbox{5}{90}{NW}}"  code the legend and norh arrow is printed twice.

 

I'm sure I've made a mistake here but after few days of messing with the code result is still the same.
