[Therion] grid lines

Been trying to get my grid looking good. I find the default crosses for my standard 100m grid about twice the size I would like. 
Secondly, I would then like the kilometre grid lines to be continuous like the code from Stacho and Bruce, but still with the 100m small crosses.
Finally to label just the kilometre grid at its intersections but not the 100m crosses
Has anyone got any meta code to help with any section of this request.
