Font sizes for labels

Well - it does work in the case of line label, but it does not in the case of point label. Thanks for pointing out - it is a bug.

You should use <ss> instead (<ss> means sans serif). <rm> means roman - it is a serif font. This should solve your problem for a while. We will try to fix it in the next release.
