The chapter Thinking in Therion/How to draw maps in thbooks gives some
explanation. It is perhaps written very condensed, but all basic ideas are
given.

Exactly, you need full names.

Only solution is a Slovak proverb "Think twice, cut once" :)) At the
beginning of therion development I suggested to have variable namespaces,
e.g. to give all stations in the scrap references like 1 at VAR 2 at VAR etc.
and than define centrally in one place that VAR is actually
chamber1.entrance survey. It would be than easy to redefine it. But it
seemed to be too much work to implement it.

It always used to. I rename all scraps after creation.
