I wish all of these apps had apk files available for direct download from their websites, instead of play.google.com. Absolutely. And some of us want to use our tech with code we actually trust, and if you do that Google prevent access to the play store (AIUI). And you can't do it without a gmail account (which is a very reasonable thing to not want). So we need stuff on either fDroid or as plain .apks too. Sexytopo is now on fdroid (Yay!). topodroid isn't. It would be nice if any of you who have first hand experience with using the different android-alternatives could share your experiences. I would like to drop those old windows-based PDAs but I have not yet tried the android-alternatives, and wonder if they are good enough yet. Best regards. By my opinion the PocketTopo is the best. Simple, without many not necessary features, and 3D export to DXF is amazing. But not Android. Topodroid is too complex and any sketch you did in a cave one has to redraw or correct in Therion. There are other as Abris, SexyTopo, Qave, CaveSurvey, … Martin
