When generating a pdf for one cave, the automatic title reports a
slightly shorter length than that reported by X-therion. Has anyone else had this? Graham For me it seems to be the norm once a cave becomes more than trivial. The link here explains possible reasons http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php?id=bds#concepts (search for the word "statistics"-occurrence 2 and 4) and follow the link embedded on that page. I'm not 100% sure my reasoning is valid - any other ideas welcomed. I had thought that there were discrepancies brought about by a hypothetical bug in therion due to lengths or point continuations flagged 'explored', 'approx', 'duplicate' or 'surface' not being allocated correctly, but a partial and informal test that I did seems to discount this. Usually the pdf map reports a shorter length than the survey-list, but on doing some testing with a particular project that had this behaviour I managed to find a subset selection of maps where the pdf map reported a longer length than the survey list for that subset survey-list.
