It was not because of encoding - but because of end of line
translation setting in xtherion. I have fixed this already, it should
not happen in next developement snapshot or release.

 I knew enough to know it was a LF/CR,LF issue, but not enough to know
that
 encoding would not affect it.  I'll try jEdit.
