[Therion] Suggestions on how to write several new symbol type in metapost

Hi, I want to write several new symbols for Therion. Is there any kind of editor where I could do it? Maybe something more interactive than writing Metapost code and recompiling a test map? How do you create/edit symbols for Therion? Regards, Rodrigo Severo
