I am also a bit uncertain on 'revise' and would look forward to any examples related to Xaviers example. Based on some forum posts, I have managed to use it successfully to change the -station-names settings from within a scrap as in halfway down this page http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php/paperless?s[]=revise <http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php/paperless?s%5b%5d=revise> I can imagine that the preferable 'select - map-level' behaviour would differ for 'export map' and 'export atlas', and that might be why the map-level has to "match exactly".
