You are right, saving the JPG file with Windows file viewer makes the JPG file compatible with Windows XTherion.<br>
<br>
The problem is with the use of the "Progressive" JPEG option in GIMP.<br>
Even in GIMP, if you save the JPEG file without the "Progressive"<br>
option, the JPEG file became readable by Windows XTherion.<br>
<br>
But the error message is really cryptic:<br>
<br>
    invalid name command "ÿØÿà<br>
<br>
Who would think this is about an unsupported option when saving the JPEG file ;)<br>
