I think that sometimes a white opaque background would be desirable.<br>
How about;<br>
<br>
map-bg [100 100 100] #or<br>
map-bg [100] #gives an opaque white background, and<br>
map-bg off #gives a transparent background?<br>
<br>
ie similar in concept to map-header-bg off<br>
<br>
If this is more complicated to code then your suggestion would be a good<br>
interim solution.<br>
