Recently, Alexandre Pont and I wrote a paper to propose such an organization. You can find it there (open access ; in French) :https://journals.openedition.org/dynenviron/9719
Please can suggest a correction, although it might be poor translation.
The British Cave Association Cave Registry and Data Archive
https://www.cave-registry.org.uk/
Does not restrict to any form of data. It is not a Therion repository.
Most do use Therion, however
http://cave-registry.org.uk/svn/NorthernEngland/
is mainly survex and Tunnel.
Granted the front page still has the old reference for this Yorkshire,
which has been changed. There are also lots of databases that are not on
the front page. As per normal we are a small group that are not keeping
up with the public admin.
