[Therion] Main route through a cave

Not tried this myself and it would not be ideal. Could you use carefully selected scraps and maps then use colour to make the main route obvious. Could either be subtle or very distinct. Also would allow easy turning off if all the side passages, so an extract of just the main route could be published.
No idea how hard this is to do in practice.
