[Therion] map-tex - controlling the size of the bounding box

When using things like

 \legendbox{-6}{100}{SW}{\northarrow}

The box that is put the legend box is reasonably large, so the north
arrow cannot be put that close to a survey. Is there a way of
controlling this?
