So I had always assumed Martin, but NOT TRUE.  As I mentioned in another
post (it has not come through yet) I have just received a 5km long Therion
project with nicely drawn map. There is not a single station in any of the
scraps, and yet the scraps are aligned with the survey network.  I plan to
dissect it over the next few days to see how it works.  There is an xvi with
stations and left right masks, so maybe that does it??
