[Therion] How to suppress station name prefix?

Hello,
my stations all follow the syntax „n.m“, like 1.28, 1.29, 2.1, 2.2 and so on.
I have some larger maps where only the first prefix (1.m) ever occurs.

Is there a way to supress the prefix when needed without tinkering with the data?
I think in the direction of overloading the station name symbol but dont know how to code this in metapost...
