[Therion] Grid coordinates appearance

Hi,
Is there any possibility to change the appearance of grid coordinates?

i have tried to use metapost 's_hgrid' function but i have no idea how to
reed coordinates in metres. they appear in '(x, y)' format when i use
'grid-coords border' and i would like to have 'X m' on one axis and 'Y m'
on the other.

I am actually new to Therion and i would appreciate any help
