Oops, the dangers of a faulty memory

Try 

 export map -proj plan -layout mendip -layout-surface off -o Reads.pdf

 

 and

 

 export map -proj plan -layout overview -layout-surface bottom -o
ReadsOver.pdf

 

Therion Book page 52 and 57

The layout-xxx format may work, but if it does not, put the surface
statements in layouts Mendip and overview as appropriate.

 

And regarding Martins suggestion re different selections for different
exports in the same th-config, try using unselect.  Might work.

 

select X

export

unselect X

select Y

export

Unfortunately enable/disable only work with model.

 

It would be great to be able to select different map/surface for

different pdfs in the same thconfig. In this case  I would want the

surface and none offset maps for the overview and the offset maps for

the full survey.

 For now it looks like I will just have to have 2 nearly identical

thconfigs with only a couple of lines different.
