[Therion] PDF generation

Hello Bruce,
I was this year at a producer of large format printers on a trade fair.
There I got a cave map printed (size approx 1m by 1.5m. He opened the
pdf in Photoshop and rasterized it with 360 dpi. That file was printed
afterwards. Quality in my opinion is great. He said, that photoshop is
best for this job, and this is more reliable than letting the printer do
it.
For saving pixel files for printing I would recommend to either use
photoshop native format or "tif" with lzw-compression. This is a
losseless compression. jpeg and png are either lossy and/or limited in
pixel size.
Best regards
Wolfgang
