[Therion] FW: Topparser 123 pdf crashes

Just incorporating the output of topparser in my larger project and I find
that there is no problem whatsoever with empty scraps.
I suspect the crash (due to empty scraps?) is when ALL the scraps are empty.
I tried tweaking the topparser output to produce a map that contains the
centerline, and moved the map definitions outside of the survey definition
like this.
map 54-EnglishPlanCL -title "54-English centreline plan" \
-projection plan
54 #survey centreline only
endmap
map 54-EnglishPlan -title "54-English plan" \
-projection plan
54-EnglishPlan-s1 #empty initially
54-EnglishPlan-s2 #empty initially
endmap
.but always the same error if I try to compile only the single survey and
produce a pdf.
(If the above had worked then topparser could be modified to avoid the
therion crashes).
As soon as one of the scraps is not empty (has a drawing), then there is no
problem producing a pdf.
Another workaround could be to get topparser to insert a point station or
two in each scrap.
And yes, a therion warning that all the scraps are empty would better.

PS: Why 54-English?
This passage was dug through 3 rock pile blockages and surveyed in 2.5 hrs
to produce a passage 36m long.
We called it "Feeling English"

scale. Shame it causes a fatal error, it would be nice if it was just a
warning that nothing could be produced, but in my default file I just have
the map export commented out
Do you mean empty scraps?
Hmm, pretty sure empty scraps are OK (there was a bug where 'debug on'
caused a crash and it was fixed in 5.3.11?)
Still, a memory is a dangerous thing after a long caving trip - I'll report
back - but not soon.
