[Therion] Is therion data dimensions like survex *data passage

Thought I'd actually read the survey manual (at long last).

 

Is Therion's 'data dimensions' data input style intended to have the same as
effect as Survex's '*data passage' input style?

 

Ie Allow arbitrary definition of 3d passage tubes between survey stations
regardless to the survey centreline route between stations.

If so it adds some possibilities I hadn't thought of. However Therion's
ability to use plan drawing outlines to define 3d passage tubes might
supersede them.

 

Still, it would be good to know the possibilites.
