[Therion] Scrap is too large to process in metapost in this scale

I am working with a th2 file generated from the inkscape export plug-in.
This file contains a few scraps. If I try to create a pdf from just one of
the scraps in the file then I get the follow error:

error -- scrap spEntSeries at Riano defined at RianoEntPlan3a.th2 [6] is too
large to process in metapost in this scale -- maximal scale for this scrap
is 1 : 830753

My scrap is not that large. I found that if I delete all the other scraps
from the th2 file so it only contains the single scrap then the pdf
generates fine. I've attached the full log file. Any ideas what is going on
here?
