[Therion] vthreshold inefficient

Hello All,
 
I have LRUD data and the UD is always vertical. If  I understand manual and mailing lists, vthreshold can be set to 90 degrees for that purpose. But I noticed that vthreshold has no effect, even with any other value then 90. Is it normal or missed I something ?
