Hi gianc64

I presume you are referring to the Xtherion map editor.

All drawing is done on a single layer, although background images could be
though of as each being on their own layer.  They can be made visible or not
on an individual basis.

 

When your drawing file is processed and you choose to export to pdf, then
the pdf file often contains layers.  User control of these is only
indirectly available, in fact it's not really control, more a consequence of
the types of entities that are exported - ie cave maps, previews, surface.
