arranging files for big systems

Has anyone (that probably means you martinB) got any idea what the problem
below is? Look back up the thread for the URL of the tarball. This join
used to work, but now it doesn't.

And I still have no idea about this either:

Also if I include the file 'grumble.th', then I get:
