image missing and import error
Hello I have just upgraded to debian jessie which comes with Therion 5.3.10 When opening a th2 file I find that all my background images are not visable, also not listed in the background images on the right hand side So in a new file I try importing a jpg, one I have done before, it gives an error, the log of which is attached, as is the th2 file it produces, which looks okay at a quick glance. I also tried a .top text file import, again that I have successfully done before, with the same result, the xvi is produced. Trying importing an xvi it looks like the same error Suspect this is a debian bug, as no one else has complained so will file a report after this thanks Andrew
Windows versions of Therion have had a bug with displaying 'background sketches' in pdf outputs for many versions - fixed in 5.3.11 On reading your post more carefully I see this is a different problem, 'background images' not loading into the drawing editor. I've not seen this before (in Windows). Bruce
This is very strange error log... No idea what is going on. But could you please try edit xtherion and replace line (12275 on my Win32 version, may be on linux some other number): $xth(me,can) lower $xth(me,imgs,$imgx, image) command with: catch {$xth(me,can) lower $xth(me,imgs,$imgx, image) command} ... this line does nothing critical, so just ignoring the error should help. Found that line 3 times in the usr/bin/xtherion, I hope that was the right file to edit? so line 12278 which is pretty close to 12275, in section #and change coordinates changed this line and tried to insert image, same error. So in section #let's create image subimages I also changed line 12546 and 12572 I have now noticed that is says loading image climbing.jpg at the bottom left, but I do not think this is a change thanks Andrew On 30/07/13 11:04, Stacho Mudrak wrote:

Hi all I have just been adding some labels to my diagrams in the th2 files, in xtherion. As I was editing a label, I tried to copy and paste as I did this when you come back into the options box, it highlight everything so when I pasted, it deleted the previous text, so I hit ctrl-z for undo, then did the past again, on one of the last two actions, the background diagrams re-appeared. Not sure if this is repeatable or what, and have not got time to play now, but thought that I would write it down and post while it was still fresh in my mind. Hi all Okay had a chance to play, could repeat the below on the original file, seemed to only work for point station, could not get it to work on any other file, tried about 4, so comparing the files, I notices the one I was working on was at a different zoom (200 and the rest at 100) On clicking on the increase zoom the image comes back, seems to work on all files, don't think that the percentage it is at is important, but at lease I seem to have a working xtherion again :) Andrew
