If you set overlap 2 cm in the atlas layout, then each 'page' in the atlas takes 2 pages, the second of which is blank, and the 'overview' thingy in the bottom right-hand corner goes slightly off the bottom of the page. Looks like the extra space needed for the larger overlap is not properly allowed for. Now I am not sure - but you just probably need to reduce atlas map size by 2cm in each dimension. Try add this to layout. size 16 20 cm Or you can increase page size to something else then A4 using page-setup. But therion should probably check these numbers and generate some reasonable warning, if they are not consistent. Regards, S. Wookey wrote:

Yep - that fixes it.

Indeed. On in the case where overlap is specified and so is the page format (A4) but size isn't it should probably just 'do the right thing', which is calculate the new size that will make things fit. Then if you really did want it to be the 'wrong' size for the page you'd have to specify all the settings explicitly. It is a good idea, I will do it like that. All the time I am dealing with this - I need to study therion book - which layout setting I need to modify. Doing it automatically would siplify things for user a lot. Thanks, S.
