I've been using xtherion to trace passage detail from my survey notes and now have a collection of scraps, each one corresponding to a page of my survey notebook. I have been unable to work out or find documented how I can connect up the lines for walls and such on adjacent scraps. At present I get a set of nearly-joined-up map segments when I compile the map from the set of scraps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Simeon
Martin Budaj or Stacho will answer you more detailed, but very shortly: use command "join" for example: join fajc_obch@FAJCIAR_OBCHADZKA fajciar@FAJCIAR where names in small letters are names of scraps and names in capitals are names of surveys. If your scraps are connected on 2 or more places, you may use option -count N with join command, where N is number of connections, therion should look for (join scrap1 scrap2 -count 2). Sometimes it doesn't work. E.g. when outline or connection place is not correctly determined or more than 2 scraps connect at one place. If it is your case, you need to use join to connect only lines or specific line points. Regards, S. Simeon Warner wrote:
