If it is not already in progress ... The Therion package in JM Begley's COPR repository needs to be rebuilt so it works on Fedora 32. When I try to run the upgrade from F31 to F32, it gives me this: ================ <snip...> Problem 3: package therion-5.4.4-2.fc31.x86_64 requires libproj.so.13()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed - proj-5.2.0-5.fc31.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository - problem with installed package therion-5.4.4-2.fc31.x86_64 <snip ...> ================= Thanks! -- Bill Gee
Hi Bill, Unfortunately F32 has moved to proj v6, which has a number of fairly significant changes associated with it. Therion support for proj v6 appears to be a bit of a work in progress, but I'm trying to pick out the commits that are required to get it working. It might take a few days though :( Cheers, James On Wed, 29 Apr 2020 at 17:08, Bill Gee <bgee@campercaver.net> wrote:

No worries, mate! It's not like I have a huge need to use Therion right now. All my mapping projects are up to date, and no more data will be coming in for some months. The machine I tried the upgrade on is a test system. If I get impatient enough, I can always uninstall Therion. And besides - There were other applications showing similar problems. Therion is not the only victim. Sometimes I feel like the vulture in the classic Far Side panel. The vulture says to his friend "Patience my ass! I'm gonna kill something." -- Bill Gee On Wednesday, April 29, 2020 11:19:37 AM CDT James Begley wrote:

Hi, we plan to release the next version in a couple of days, so it would be best to wait a bit. Best wishes Martin On Wed, Apr 29, 2020 at 9:26 PM Bill Gee <bgee@campercaver.net> wrote:

I noticed a few minutes ago that Jim Begley's COPR repository has a new package for Therion 5.5.0. I tried it on my Fedora 32 test computer. Worked like a champ! Thanks, Jim! I also installed it on my main production system, still Fedora 31. It works there, too. -- Bill Gee On Wednesday, April 29, 2020 11:19:37 AM CDT James Begley wrote:
