timeline/outlook of therion/loch
Hi Stacho, hi Martin, I'll address you both directly as you are the two main developers of therion/loch. Just to start with my background: I'm mainly using therion/loch to create 3D models of the polygon plot with associated elevation model and overlaying surface texture. So I have almost no experience with creating 2d printable cave maps at all. But back to the topic, I could not find any information on the web page or wiki what your plans are with therion. As you've mentioned recently on the mailing list your free time is limited (I can understand that quite well!). I think I'm not alone when I ask you what are your plans to extend (to develop further) therion/loch? For myself I don't see a way to contribute code, as I absolutely have no knowledge of C (and any dialects C++, C#, etc). Regards Wolfgang

Currently, we are fixing some bugs and adding some new features to centerline we are missing in therion. This should be finished soon - within 2-3 weeks I hope, there will be new release. Then I would like to focus on loch developement. We are missing labeling there (stations, comments, surveys), highlighting entrances, survey tree and real-time survey selection and some measurements. If you need some other features - do not hesitate to ask for them. Best regards, S.
