Forcing Therion to print centerlines only
Hello, Having the need to produce a map showing only centerlines with station names, I forced Therion to produce such by removing all "input *.th2" statements. With growing number of such statements in various files this becomes unmangeable. Is there a way (a switch) to force Therion to print only all centerlines, without any scraps or sketches? I tried "unselect" but that command appears not to work. Michael.
If you put a survey in a map it will show the centreline, and select the map if it is not the top level. map Wookey -projection plan DeepRoute Wookey9-22 Wookey12-13 19 endmap The adding of -projection plan is important, even if you have some plan maps (where you do not have to be explicate) in there as well Not sure how you get the station names without a th2 file, but you seem to have solved that, I would be interested in how you do it Andrew On 25/06/15 08:51, Michael wrote:

If you put a survey in a map it will show the centreline...
Andrews suggestion is the only way I have done it to date, due to the (generally helpful) behaviour of Therion whereby (for pdf exports) selecting nothing selects all, and selecting any map object suppresses all selected survey objects. But it would be nice to be able to forcibly suppress scrap output, maybe something like this in a layout would do it; layout LayoutSurveyOnly symbol-hide group all # hides all survey and scrap symbols except passage foreground and background colours I think symbol-show group centreline #shows centreline related symbols debug station-names #shows all station names scale 1 1000 endlayout LayoutSurveyOnly That layout in combination with no selections (which by default selects all surveys and all scraps/maps in a source file) might do the trick. It worked for me, although it is slow to compile large projects due to Therion having to process all the scraps. As written above the layout generates centrelines with all the offsets and previews defined in maps, but hides all other drawing symbols. You can see below the effect on one of my projects. The light grey shading is the effect of the default white passage foreground colour overlying the preview below shading. Thanks for seeding the idea Michael Bruce
Thanks Andrew and Bruce, for your suggestions. I "solved" the problem by maintaining two redundant, complete trees of *.th - Files. One set does include scraps, the other set does not include them. For one of the next Therion releases, it would be nice to be able to forcibly suppress scraps by command or parameter as suggested below. Regards, Michael. Way you not defined another map definition only from surveys? And "select" that map definition for output? M.s. Odesláno z iPhonu 2. 8. 2015 v 10:53, Michael <knollesimage@t-online.de>:
