I have noticed that waterflow -subtype presumed symbols in the 'Blue Moonlight bay' area (top right hand corner). Appears fine in xpdf, but not at all in gpdf. Do they come out in acrobat? What is going on here? Someone else remarked that it was nice to have layers appear as 'bookmarks' and that acrobat could do this. It would be nice to have each 'map' appear in the 'bookmarks' list (so you could easily move to it) and maybe be a separate PDF 'layer'. I know almost nothing about PDF and maybe this is a bad idea, but I pass it on in case it is helpful. Hello Wookey, my laptop opens your pdf file in a few seconds (some win xp on a asus laptop a intel m processor amd 500 mb ram. This is perhaps a linux related problem? But I really have to say that even this pre state of your cave map is really pretty! I'm far away to draw caves like this! Wolfgang Wookey schrieb:

No idea. Does gpdf supports transparency? I have never used it. In acroread for linux I am using - everything is OK.

It's a good idea. I will mark this into TODO list. We will see what we can do. S.

gpdf does support transparency (xpdf does not) (which is odd because gpdf is based on xpdf). I don't use acrobat because it is non-free and not available for non-x86 platforms. But I suppose I could sully my system with it forcomparison purposes(especially if it is as fast as Wofgang suggests - that would imply that someone needs to do a bit of work on xpdf to get the rendering speed for this sort of document up to something useful, and I know a man to hassle about that sort of thing).
