That's the limit of what I can do. What will Therion be doing there? Probably buying a stand. I'm hoping it's an opportunity for all the cave survey software people to get together and talk shop. About tricks for boulder layout algorithms and colour schemes, how to make the software compatible, and how to archive cave survey data. That sort of thing. Julian. Yep. I'll be there. I'm wondering about doing some actual caving during the week. 6 days of lectures sounds like a bit much... (I'm not going to the pre-excursions or post-excursions). Can we arrange a trip? Maybe to the famous 'Dead bats Cave' which started it all :-) Anyway, hopefully we can get some quality nerding in, and improve the world of cave surveying a little. I think there will be a lot of caving possibilities and we can arrange something for sure. Regarding Dead bats cave (JMN)... When are you planning to arrive/leave?
Is it a long way from Brno so not suited to a day-trip? I am just trying to plan travel now. Current plan is arrive at start of conf, Tess will travel out afterwards and we'll campervan round czechR/slovakia for a week or two. But it can all be changed for the next week or so. Any advice on good places for campervanning/wild camping around the area is welcome too - I've not managed to work out how easy this is. (There only seem to be two small national parks where camping is not allowed in CZ, for example - how full is the rest of the countr(ies)?) I guess we should take this off-list...
