After being "Convert to curve" line looses ID

Hi, After a "convert to curve" operation lines loose their IDs. I believe they also loose other info like the "l-size" required by slopes. Shouldn't all info - id and options - be kept - after a "convert to curve" operation. Regards, Rodrigo
