I have been compiling a file at various scales. At 1:1250 it compiles but at 1:2500 it goes into a loop and doesn’t finish The only difference other than the scale is a change in font size, to try and remove the small fonts [Warning: text scaled down to fit the path in scrap stpaulsps6@stpauls.summerti me.agenallwedd] [1259] [1260] [1261] [1262] [1263] ! John Does it compile OK at 1:2500 if the font is not adjusted? The 'numintersections' bit smells of symbol drawing, an area perhaps, and the 'a_debis_AUT' reinforces that. It could be that scrap [1263] has a problem with that area. See this item in the wiki http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php/faq#how_to_find_where_a_metapost_erro r_is_occurring And likewise - if there is a way to remove fonts of certain 'scales' at compile time - I would be most grateful. See my clumsy attempt, similar to John's, at http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php/templates#general_setup (under Output Scale heading) Bruce _____ From: therion-bounces@speleo.sk [mailto:therion-bounces@speleo.sk] On Behalf Of John Stevens Sent: Friday, 25 April 2014 1:41 a.m. To: Therion@speleo.sk Subject: [Therion] Error on large file due to scale I have been compiling a file at various scales.
