Co-ordinate system identification in outputs
Some time ago the issue of including the output co-ordinate system identification in the outputs themselves was raised. For example; * cave lists, * title pages of atlas's, * map-headers, and * sql database output. Identification could be as simple as "EPSG:27200" or "arbitrary local co-ordinate system" Was anything decided? I think this is quite important, and it's absence causes confusion from time to time Should I add this as a task to the savannah page? Bruce
In fact, coordinate system definition, north type (true, magnetic, grid) & rotation should be included on the map. I will see what I can do - please put it on the savannah in any case. Regards, S. On Sun, Jul 5, 2009 at 12:11 AM, Bruce Mutton<bruce.mutton@paradise.net.nz> wrote:
