Hi, I am very new to Therion. I have spent the last 2 days learning it and have completed the Footleg tutorial (http://wscc.darkgem.com/footleg/therion/) and am currently in the process of drawing up a small extension I surveyed a few days ago. I wanted to add the full date to the survey (at the moment it only shows the year), but short of just using the "map-comment" command, I haven't been able to work out how to do this. I'm sure it must be pretty straight forward, so hopefully this is easy to answer. If anyone has a good place for me to continue learning (on from the Footleg tutorial) that would also be cool, as I can see my self wanting to change how the maps look in other ways in the future (maybe the north arrow for example, specifying what kind of north it is representing). Thanks, Felix
Anyway, please, check wiki on Therion's page. m.s. On Oct 19, 2017, at 05:22 AM, Felix Ossig-Bonanno via Therion <therion@speleo.sk> wrote: Hi, I am very new to Therion. Hi Martin, I checked the Wiki, but didn't find anything about adding the full date. I will have a read some more, but I think maybe I need to play with /topodate Cheers, felix On Thu, Oct 19, 2017 at 3:07 AM, Martin Sluka via Therion <therion@speleo.sk

It sounds like you are at the stage of using the thbook as a reference. I've not tried this, but my first attempt would be to override the token registers as described on the wiki https://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/tex#overriding_data_supplied_by_therion_map_h... You probably want the token \topodate The longer list is on page 68 of the thbook

The layout commands, thbooke page 49 on, gives a good indication of what is available without getting into code. North <true/grid> are the options, default is true Andrew
Thanks, Felix

Thanks Andrew. I found the list of tokens in the thbook you mentioned. I could modify the date using the following code: code tex-map \topodate{19th Oct 2017} endcode It would be nice to pull this from the survey data. But this is just as good really. Thanks!
