So current version of therion should support centerline with LRUD in map editor. As usually - it is implemented easiest way for programmer :) with minimal changes in current interface. So how it works: 1. Therion supports new map format export - xvi (xtherion vector image). 2. XTherion can load xvi images into backgroud, as any other bitmap image. There are some special bindings for vector images - e.g. if you insert point on station, type and station name are automatically set. When exporting xvi images - they are exported in 100dpi in layout-scale. Grid spacing is also taken from layout X grid-size. Waiting for feedback and comments :) S.

May you, please, publish any short example, how it works? TIA
I've tried your Tornala example with xtherion from the dev snapshot. When I try to insert the .xvi image I get: ------- bad search mode "-integer": must be -exact, -glob, or -regexp bad search mode "-integer": must be -exact, -glob, or -regexp while executing "lsearch -integer $xth(me,imgs, xlist) $imgx" (procedure "xth_me_imgs_xvi_create" line 62) invoked from within "xth_me_imgs_xvi_create $imgx" (procedure "xth_me_image_insert" line 176) invoked from within "xth_me_image_insert $xth(ctrl,me,images, posx) $xth(ctrl,me,images, posy) {} 0 {}" ("uplevel" body line 1) invoked from within "uplevel \#0 $cmd" (procedure "Button::_release" line 19) invoked from within "Button::_release .xth.me.af.ctrl.cf11.f.ic.insp" (command bound to event) ------- And moving around the canvas gives: ------- bad index "": must be integer or end?-integer? bad index "": must be integer or end?-integer? while executing "lindex $xth(me,imgs, xlist) $iidx" (procedure "xth_me_image_select" line 22) invoked from within "xth_me_image_select [lsearch $xth(me,imgs, xlist) $imgx]" (procedure "xth_me_image_choose" line 3) invoked from within "xth_me_image_choose $imgx" (procedure "xth_me_area_end_drag" line 10) invoked from within "xth_me_area_end_drag 20 "0" 459 389" (command bound to event) ------- $ rpm -q tcl tcl-8.3.5-88 John
Isn't it just because of old version of TCL? S. John Pybus wrote:

It may be - I'm still on RedHat 9 as getting linux working with my laptop's hardware was struggle enough and I'm not keen to do an upgrade and go through it all again. What's the minimum version required? The webpages don't specify anything, and all previous versions have worked fine with 8.3.5. If therion 0.3.7 is going to require 8.4, or whatever, then the docs/release notes will need changing to reflect this. Cheers, John
OK - I will try to remove -integer, may be it will help. But this option I have been using since 0.3.0... Regards, S. John Pybus wrote:

Problems with TCL should be now fixed and translations of point/line/area types should be in status line. Some items in therion translations file (thlang/texts.txt) need to be translated for this. Regards, S.
