Overlaying xvi file and map background as the same scale
Hi, I want “Therionise” a cave map wich is alredy drawn. I have the data survey but not the vector data. - I created a centerline - I digitalized the map. - I import it and the xvi file in my .th2 as backgrounds. The problem is that scale of xvi file and map image are not the same. How can I overlay them at the same scale? Thank’s and sorry for my bad English, Martin
HI, do you need .xvi file? Isn’t enough to add stations from drawn map to a scrap? Create a new survey file - .th. Create a new scrap in map file .th2. Import you digitized drawn as background image. Add points „station“ to your background image with correct names. ... Martin s.

Hello You can make XVI with integrated image through "sketches morphing" feature 1) Create thconfig like this === thconfig_xvi === source my_centerline.th source my_xvi.th2 export map -o my.xvi -layout-sketches on ============== 2) create my_xvi.th2 3) Add background image to my_xvi.th2 4) Add scrap 5) Add your background image to scrap (see scrap panel in XTherion) 6) Add your stations to scrap (e.g. point station -name 1@my_centerline) in places where it situated on map 7) Compile, morphing should started 8) Produced XVI should contain your scaled (and morphed) image 04.02.2018 00:00, Martin KERN via Therion пишет:

Any scrap must be calibrated (georeferenced) If you add stations to your old map those stations will calibrate it. So the scale of final xvi with sketch as background on will be in the same scale. The same with other new scraps - they will be automatically calibrated by stations. So no any problem with different scale. Martin S.

5) Add your background image to scrap (see scrap panel in XTherion) 6) Add your stations to scrap (e.g. point station -name 1@my_centerline) in places where it situated on map 7) Compile, morphing should started 8) Produced XVI should contain your scaled (and morphed) image
