Strange and interesting. I can replicate this with Therion 6.4.0 How did you deduce that 0.1 degree inclination change should bypass the problem? Hi, this should be fixed in the latest commit (windows installer here: https://github.com/therion/therion/actions/runs/25989238617). Best wishes Martin On Sun, May 17, 2026 at 11:03 AM <bruce@tomo.co.nz> wrote:

Hello
I have error, when using command «color map-fg altitude».

Oh dear. I can't decide if the expression above is positive,
negative, or zero. So this comparison test won't be `true'.

Thanks Martin That (therion/therion@d6d9a18 <https://github.com/therion/therion/commit/d6d9a18fe0dcdfd47fdef42cd16cd9ed878a2bad> ) solves the Sau’s colour map-fg altitude problem for me, presumably for Sau as well. Recall my post of 20 April 2026 “[Therion] th_formdef.tex runaway text error”, where I described scenarios that triggered “pdftex exit code – 1”. colour map-fg [triplet] colour map-fg scrap colour map-fg map all seemed to trigger the error for large enough outputs, but colour map-fg [integer] and colour map-fg altitude are less error prone but still error for a long enough passage. Although my problem only manifests in a single Therion dataset, is it possible that there could be a similar root cause (and solution)? Bruce
Bruce, I'm afraid I need to look at your data. Could you send me the dataset? M. On Mon, May 18, 2026 at 10:51 AM <bruce@tomo.co.nz> wrote:
